Sunday School

Children ages 5-12 are invited to become church school scholars; number of classes is dependant on the number of children enrolled. Since the goals are both education and formation, the children are encouraged to study the Bible and they are encouraged to embrace the mission and ministry of helping others and reaching out as Jesus did.

During the one hour time slot, there are four key components
Music: The children practice under the direction of our youth music director, Dawn Washo and perform several times a year.
Bible stories: The children become familiar with stories and people of the Bible. The focus is always faith, prayer, and choices.
Heifer Project International (HPI): Using Animal Cracker: A Global Education Resource from HPI, the children learn about how HPI changes the lives of children and their families worldwide. To learn more, please visit www.heifer.org
Activity/project/lesson follow up: The children love arts and crafts, enjoy music and games, and find the time to socialize with friends.
