For the 2009 Diocesan Convention, the ECW will be collecting sweatpants and sweatshirts (sizes 5 to 18) plus undies for children at risk. Each delegate should bring one package to the Diocesan Convention. Those items will be distributed to children at risk in Northeast PA. After collection from church members, our parish will then distribute the remaining items to Lathrop Street Elementary School, Montrose; Choconut Valley Elementary School, Choconut; Susquehanna Elementary School, Susquehanna; Blue Ridge Elementary School, New Milford; Mountain View Elementary School, Kingsley; and Elk Lake Elementary School, Dimock.
Many parishioners prefer to contribute money to help with the effort and fill in the inventory gaps.
Bring your contribution of underwear, socks, sweats of all sizes, and deposit them in the basket at the rear of the church. If you wish, you may contribute money, and we will do the shopping for you. Checks may be made out to St. Paul’s Undie Sunday and placed in the offering plate. Of course, we take cash, too!
