Q: What is the duty of all Christians?
A: The duty of all Christians is to follow Christ; to come together week by week for corporate worship; and to work, pray, and give for the spread of the kingdom of God. [Book of Common Prayer (BCP), page 85]
Worship is at the core of the life of St. Paul's Church. The rich life of worship consists of corporate worship, personal prayer, devotions, and meditation, and music. All are welcome to join in worship and giving thanks to a loving and ever-present God.
Q: What is prayer?
A: Prayer is responding to god, by thought and by deeds, with or without words.
Q: What are the principle kinds of prayer?
A: The principle kinds of prayer are adoration, praise, thanksgiving, penitence, oblation, intercession, and petition.
Q: What is corporate worship?
A: In corporate worship, we unite ourselves with others to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear God?s Word, to offer prayer, and to celebrate the sacraments. [BCP, pages 856-857].

The Lectionary. A schedule of readings from the Bible is appointed for church services during the course of year. This schedule is called The Lectionary. Readings are appointed for each Sunday, and weekday observance. These may include readings from the Hebrew Scripture, the Epistles, and the Gospels.
